Message from God

I start each Sunday by asking God how I can serve Him in the forthcoming week. For finding that out, I use the guaranteed method: I concentrate on my prayer, and with my eyes closed I open the Bible and place my finger on the opened page. “Randomly,” as Timothy might say. But coincidence has no part in this matter: the divine guidance will lead my finger on just the right place. I open my eyes and read the verse at my finger. Those words shall work as my guideline for the week.

This morning, God’s message was quite peculiar:

There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
(Job 28: 7-8)

God’s instructions are usually quite clear, but sometimes they can be more cryptic, like this one. What could it possibly mean?

VOX POPULI, VOX DEI

How is Martha going to clarify the God's instructions for herself?
